I
searched for 'domestic violence against women in the UK' and this is what came
up, which is a news article on 'the guardian' about domestic violence against
women. Doing this research will help me learn more about my chosen area of
abuse and the quantity of how many women suffer from this brutal act every day.
"The scale of domestic violence in this
country is frightening. The national charity Women's Aid estimates
that 1.2 million women experienced it last year, and that one
in four women will suffer it in their lifetime".
