Elucidation of Summarising
A summary is an abbreviated form of the complete content.
Sometimes you need to extract only the main points of an content, and not the whole text; due to its lengthiness or depth. Then make an inference.
Its an essential skill we have evolved to use when inspecting, assemble things or presenting a documentation.
For example, a Curriculum Vitae. The term originates from Latin, meaning 'Life Story'. When writing a CV we turn it into a concise version of your strengths, your experience, your achievements. The reader who holds your CV should be able to make a verdict of whether or not you are capable of receiving the job based on your qualities and the necessary skills you may acquire.
On the whole, a summary should not be comprised with pointless data as it would just turn out to be a classic tedious essay.
