Media outlook on Domestic Violence against Women

Why did I chose this as my area of abuse? 

I have decided to study in depth about this particular subject for my upcoming presentation; that I will adduce. Women are not the only victims that suffer from Domestic Violence, men do as well. However, men are not seen as significant as women in modern society. As this is a growing issue that needs extra support, I feel like I can do a lot of research on it. When typing Domestic Violence in the search box the first option that came up straight away was Domestic Violence against Women. This could probably add to the fact of how significant this topic is evolving to. Nevertheless, the only botheration is that there are a variety of short films based on this particular matter. Meaning that I would have to make my story as idiosyncratic as possible.

Women's Aid, AVA, Nia, NSPCC are some of the charities I found based on Domestic Violence against Women. 

Putting my faith in statistics, I have learnt that compared to male or any other gender women are the typical victims who undergo this heinous.
